If you're like most PC users, youprobably got Windows 7 with a new PC or laptop. And if you're like 99% ofthe population, you get your new machines from one of the majormanufacturers.
Dell, Acer, HP, Toshiba, Lenovo; whoall have one thing in common: they don't give you a real Windows 7installation disc with your purchase. Instead, they bundle what they calla "recovery disc" (that's if you're lucky - otherwise you'll have arecovery partition instead) with your machine and leave it at that.
This is where Recovery Disk comeinto play. It is recommended that users create a recovery disk as soon aspossible and keep it in a safe location. In case your Windows 7 fails toboot, the recovery disk can help fix the problem.
